Swa Vimarshah Purusharthah – Self Actualisation is the Goal of Life, the
summum bonum.

Purusharthas, the main wealths of life, are fourfold.

Artha – Wealth
Dharma – Ethics and Morality, Wisdom and the Law
Kama – Social eminence
Moksha – Self Actulisation

Chankya in his Artha Sastra highlights the importance of Wealth.

Wealth is the base
He has it has friends
He only has relatives
The true scholar is he !

Without Ethics and Morality, there is no Divinity ! Hence Dharma is very
important.

Every man strives for social eminence and this is Kama . Moksha is the most
important, as it tends the individual to embrace the Life Universal !

In other words, both Indian Philosophy and Astrology are in line with
Transpersonal Psychology.

Jung was another psychologist who drew his inspiration from Philosophia
Indica. His concept of the Collective Unconscious is what Indian Wisdom
